BIOGRAPHY
Alyssa Joanlanne is a New York-based actor and singer. She graduated with the class of 2017 from Pace University with a B.A. in Acting.
COMEDY
Upon graduating, Alyssa gravitated toward comedy and improv. She began taking classes at UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade) and also performed at the Producer’s Club with A Sketch of New York and Saturday Night Improv Jam.
Alyssa produced and starred in the absurd comedy, Cocaine, a short film directed by NYU Film graduate, William Thede. She also starred in three additional films created by William Thede, two of them included voiceover work. She starred in a featured role in YouTube web series, Orange-Aide. Most recently, she has joined the ensemble at Narrow Bridge Films and is currently working on various projects with them.
INTERNATIONAL THEATRE
Alyssa had the opportunity to perform off-broadway and at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival in Romania with her first ensemble, Project Collaborynth. She worked with Project Collaborynth for two years before founding a smaller ensemble called The Cult Next Door Ensemble.
VOICEOVER
Alyssa is also very passionate about voiceover work. Her love for it grew as she delved into it while in college, interning for Broadcasters, a commercial casting agency, under Stacy Tea and Lisa Fischoff. You can listen to her full voiceover demo here.
MUSIC
Influenced by country and soul, and with a classical training background, she enjoys belting out just about anything. Currently, she is working on co-writing an EP album and producing her own YouTube series of original music and covers. Stay tuned...
